The Vision Resource Center enhances the lives of adults and children living in the Cape Fear Region who are visually impaired by: advocating for their needs, identifying and sharing information about community resources, providing education, skill development and socialization opportunities.

About Us
The Vision Resource Center began in 1939 as the Cumberland County Association of the Blind, serving the needs of this special population in conjunction with the Cumberland County Department of Social Services. We are proud to be one of the first four agencies of the United Way of Cumberland County.
